Vivo Y66 was launched in China in December last year & is now here in India. Vivo making its position strong in offline market has launched this new device priced around Rs. 15,000. However, the specs of the phone are not the best in the price range, Vivo is again with this phone focusing on selfie focused audience in India.

Design & Display
This phone comes with a metal unibody design making it feel premium & good to hold. It is quite slim at 7.6mm & comes in two colour variants Crown Gold & Rose Gold. The display here is a 5.5-inch with HD (1280x720 pixels) resolution, giving it a pixel density of just 294PPI & that is certainly not what you expect from a 15K phone now. Vivo Y66's display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Hardware & Features
The phone gets a Media Tek MT6750Octa Core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz combined with ARM Mali-T860 MP2 GPU & a good 3GB of RAM. The performance of this device should be decent but again not the best you can get for the price. The biggest draw back with Vivo Y66 is that is does not come with a fingerprint sensor. Camera is where this phone excels & manages to keep users still hooked on to this phone. Rear of the device sports a 13MP sensor with an LED flash & can record videos up to Full HD (1920x1080 pixels). On the front lies an even better 16MP sensor with an LED flash again for low light selfies & also comes with beautification modes for better results. On the storage front, you get 32GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 256GB via a MicroSD card if you do not wish to use two SIMs (Hybrid slot).

Network & Battery
It is a Dual SIM device provided you do not wish to expand the storage using a MicroSD card. It supports all major networks along with VoLTE to go with the Jio network. Sealed inside the Vivo Y66 is a 3000mAh battery that should easily last you through the day of average usage. It does not support anything fancy like wireless or fast charging.
