Vivo Y66 was launched in China in December last year & is now here in India. Vivo making its position strong in offline market has launched this new device priced around Rs. 15,000. However, the specs of the phone are not the best in the price range, Vivo is again with this phone focusing on selfie focused audience in India.

This phone comes with a metal unibody design making it feel premium & good to hold. It is quite slim at 7.6mm & comes in two colour variants Crown Gold & Rose Gold. The display here is a 5.5-inch with HD (1280x720 pixels) resolution, giving it a pixel density of just 294PPI & that is certainly not what you expect from a 15K phone now. Vivo Y66's display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3.

Hardware & Features
The phone gets a Media Tek MT6750Octa Core chipset clocked at 1.5GHz combined with ARM Mali-T860 MP2 GPU & a good 3GB of RAM. The performance of this device should be decent but again not the best you can get for the price. The biggest draw back with Vivo Y66 is that is does not come with a fingerprint sensor. Earlier today, Oppo launched a new smartphone in India called F5. Successor to the Oppo F3, the new smartphone features an edge-to-edge display and a 20-megapixel front camera powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance your selfies. The Oppo F5 is offered in two storage variants – 4GB RAM with 32GB storage priced at Rs 19,990, whereas the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage variant is priced at Rs 24,990. The smartphone can be pre-ordered starting today and will go on sale starting November 9. After spending some time with the smartphone, here are my first impressions.
More screen, less bezel
Edge-to-edge display is the theme of the year and we have seen it right from mid-range smartphones such as Micromax Canvas Infinity and LG Q6, to high-end smartphones such as Google Pixle 2 XL, Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8 and the Apple iPhone X. Oppo doesn’t want to be lost in the race, and the F5 is the company’s first smartphone to feature an edge-to-edge display.

You get a 6-inch display running at full HD resolution and an aspect ratio of 18:9. Despite having such as large display, the Oppo F5 still feels compact, and is the same size as last the F3 that featured a 5.5-inch display. The display is bright enough for proper visibility in direct sunlight, but the color reproduction could’ve been a bit more punchy.

Oppo F5 launched in India at Rs 19,990; brings 20 MP selfie camera 6-inch, 18:9 display and more



The Oppo F5 is indeed the successor to the F3 and the F3 Plus and looks similar to its sibling Vivo's recently launched V7 Plus selfie smartphone, with some minor cosmetic changes. You get a taller display on the front and a facial unlock system to unlock your smartphone, because the fingerprint reader has now been moved to the back of the device due to the almost bezel-less design approach.
Inside, the Oppo's F5 is a little different from the V7+ because the F5 houses a Helio P23 chip. The V7+ took the Qualcomm route by including a Snapdragon 450. The display also gets an upgrade to an FHD+ resolution, up from the HD+ on the Vivo model.
The Helio P23 which is a 16 nm chipset paired with 4 GB/6 GB RAM options and 32 GB/64 GB internal storage options. The internal storage can be expanded up to 256 GB using a microSD card. The good bit here compared to most competitors is that the device features 3 slots, two for the SIM cards and a separate one for the SD card.

Connectivity options include support for 4G LTE bands, GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, Wi-Fi 2.4/5 GHz 802.11 a/b/g/n and a USB port at the bottom.

The front camera also delivers bokeh effects using its 20 MP f/2.0 sensor. At the back is a 16 MP camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens and an LED flash. Surprisingly, there is no LED flash on the front, considering that this is a selfie smartphone.

A 3,200 mAh battery powers all of the above and the handset runs Android 7.1 with Oppo's custom ColorOS skinning to keep things refreshed.

The 4 GB RAM / 32 GB internal storage version of the device will be available in gold and black colours for Rs 19,999. The 6 GB variant will be available in red and black for Rs 24,990.

THE GALAXY S8 may have arrived on shelves mere months ago, but reports claim that Samsung has already started production of next year's flagship: the Galaxy S9.
We've done some digging, and this isn't all we know about the so-called Galaxy S9, so we've rounded up everything we know about the handset so far.

Release date
With reports claiming that Samsung will start production of the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus this year, it's likely that the handsets will debut earlier in the year than the Galaxy S8 , and hints that Samsung could be planning a launch at next year's MWC.
This has been further fuelled as the displays look set to arrive in November, which puts the final delivery date, based on previous timings, at January.



Price
There's no word yet on pricing for the Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus. If anything like the S8 , expect handsets to fetch around £689 and £779 SIM-free.
